New renderings from Digital artist Kleber Silva show the possible design of the upcoming SUV. At this time, the new Kiger compact SUV was thought of as a Mini Captur with some design shared with the Kwid hatchback. The front grille, LED headlights with running daylight and a low air pool look similar to the Renault Kwid.
The translation painted a bonnet indicating that it was also shared with the Kwid hatchback. The rest of the car looks like the Captur with a slightly more crossover-ish profile than the SUV-squarish design. Black plastic shading can be seen around the body, while the circular wheels are covered with diamond-cut alloys.
The rear looks exactly like the Captur, which has a flat profile. However, the tail lamp design looks similar to the Renault Megane hatchback. The two-tone bumper plate and silver skid were also shared with the Captur crossover.
The Renault Kiger compact SUV will be upgrad on the CMF-A Renault-Nissan Alliance’s CMF-A Modular platform that supports the Trbit MPV. Nissan will also introduce a Magnite sub-4 meters SUV based on the same base. The Kiger will be boosted by a 1.0 liter petrol engine that produces about 96bhp and closer to 160Nm. Both manual and CVT versions may be provided. The company can also add the 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 71bhp and 96Nm.
The upcoming Renault Kiger compact SUV is expect to be offer at a price of Rs 6 lakh – Rs 8.5 lakh. It will be one of the cheapest SUVs in its category.

The new Renault compact SUV will be built on the CMF-A + platform as well as supporting the upcoming Renault Triber and Nissan Magnite. The official details of the car are yet to be reveal. It may have come with a touchscreen infotainment system that supports smartphone communication and features such as automatic climate control and audio audio control.
Reports suggest that the cart controller can also provide factory-installed solar and vehicle features that are connect to the model line. The compact SUV will carry a signature grille and bumper mounted with LED headlamps at the rear end. Other essentials will include roof rails, large fenders, integrated roof spoiler and Taillamp LED.
In addition to the platform, Renault Kiger will share its Powertrain with the Triber compact MPV. That said, it will extract power from a 1.0L, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that delivers power near 95bhp. The compact SUV lineup will be offer with a 5-speed manual and CVT automatic gearbox option.
